KuraCheck turns tens of thousands of agents into a coordinated, verifiable network, even where the network signal drops.

    Geofenced check-in with a selfie confirms each agent is at their assigned station. Gaps trigger reserve deployment.

Election platforms are high-value targets. We design for attack from day one and commit to strict rules on how the platform may be used.

Security by design

  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest, with field-level encryption for personal data
  • Multi-factor login, device binding and SIM-swap checks for sensitive roles
  • Geo-scoped access: a ward coordinator sees only their ward
  • Hash-chained audit log of every action, with write-once evidence storage
  • Independent penetration testing and an election-week change freeze

Our responsible-use pledge

  • We do not collect ethnicity, tribe or religion, and you cannot target messages by them.
  • Consent first: no supporter is contacted without consent, and every message has an opt-out.
  • Payments go only to registered staff, volunteers and agents, for approved purposes. There are no voter incentives.
  • Internal results are never published automatically. Only the IEBC declares results.
  • Built to align with the Data Protection Act 2019 and the Electoral Code of Conduct.

Every campaign on KuraCheck must accept our Responsible Use Policy. We suspend accounts that breach it.

FAQ

Questions campaigns ask us

Is KuraCheck affiliated with the IEBC?

No. KuraCheck is an independent tool for candidates and campaign teams. It uses only publicly available IEBC data, such as polling station lists and published result forms, and never connects to IEBC systems.

Does KuraCheck replace official results?

No. Only the IEBC declares official results. KuraCheck helps your campaign verify the Form A results your agents witness against what is officially published, and document any discrepancies.

What happens if an agent has no internet at the polling station?

The mobile app works fully offline and syncs when a connection returns. Agents can also submit key figures by USSD or structured SMS from any phone.

Which races can use KuraCheck?

All six elective positions: President, Governor, Senator, Woman Representative, Member of National Assembly and MCA. It also supports party primaries.

How is our campaign data protected?

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited by role and geography, and every action is audit-logged. Each campaign's data is isolated from every other campaign's, and we never sell or share it.

Can a political party use KuraCheck for several candidates?

Yes. A party or coalition can manage multiple candidates and races from one account, with separate teams and permissions for each.
